My main instrument, a Modulus Graphite 5 Sweet Spot Custom. I bought this from Glenn Letsch in 1994. It's unique in that it has a 6 string neck, is a 5 string with accompanying bridge. My wife refers to it as my girlfriend, but it's really my mistress.
I traded in a 4003 Rick with a warped neck (arrrgh), for this beauty. A 1989 Fender Jazz Special. All stock except for a Hipshot D-Tuner. My primary instrument until I bought the Modulus
A strat copy I've had since my Navy days. I did the custom paint job while in Art College as a present to my Wife. The neck has an oil finish. The pickups are a pair of Seymour Duncan stacked single coils, and the Humbucker is a Duncan Parallel Axis. The bridge is a locking nut Kahler.
A Peavey Foundation Fretless. I bought this from Tom Michaud at Starland Music in Alameda. I don't use it as much as I'd like, but it definitely has been useful in the right applications.
With the exception of an amp simulator that I use in Sonar, all of the guitar and bass effects came from the ART.
While no substitute for a human being, this has been a very reliable unit. It actually got me to be able to notate for drums.
Primarily used as a mixer by me now, I still use it from time to time for recording vocals or sounds as it records beautifully and is portable.
While I have been steering away from this with the advent of soft synthesis, all of the Piano, Strings, and Pad sounds came from this.
My latest purchase (June 08). It'll be fun finding out what kind of havoc I can create with this.
