Bleeding Edge

The arrangement is nice .Very big rock drum sound here. Also lots of rock style guitar mixed in for fun. Again, I don't see this as experimental in anyway at all. It is really good for what it is. Kind of a Jan Hammer exercise.

Nice work.

Maybe you should send this to the governor of california but he might even say asta la vista to this cheesey piece. The sound quality sounds good but the synths are a bit much and the snare is little beverley hills cop if ya know what I mean.

I wish to note remarkable work with a sound. All is very well audible tools. Drums sound especially purely. The only thing the the soloist sound which represents riff has not so liked. It very dark also . The melody has not liked me. There is no interesting idea. Arrangement in norm. All consistently and logically.

This track is well done but I can't help but have a vision of an early 80's TV show while listening to this

Hm. The sounds all sound very outdated to me. They could've been more interesting. However the pad raises at :40 were nice. The drums are a bit to simple for my taste, and could use a more interesting beat, drums are a little too 80's electro drum for me. However the little breakdown bit was nicely arranged.I'd actually like to hear this all composed with different sounds and effects. Something a little more interesting. It was a little too repetitive, as it was 4:44 seconds, either change up those drums or shorten it a bit?

This is a curious 80s pop pastiche, but developed in a pretty experimental arrangement. As such, it works, but could become tiresome with repeated listens.

I like the transitions from part to part but sometimes it seamed like each part dragged on too long... something needs to move or change to keep my attention.

this brought me to a place, and that is the 1980's. I've never been there, aside from when I was born. But I will tell you one thing, you are capturing alot of the elements of the 80's that make it so enjoyable, and why some of the greatest music of all time has came from there. the first artist that came to mind in the intro was prince, and david bowie. so that is a damn good impression to leave guys. it started to loose me at 1:39 seconds, I think you need to rework that part. I can't specifically say what, because creativity is different to every beholder. but let the song grow with you.

I enjoyed listening to this.

Unique
Very unique vibe here that is mostly created from melody and the guitar. This track kinda grows on me after a few minutes...only thing is if that guitar had less of that filtered sound and sounded fuller it would KILL! Very cool track that has sort of a video game feel to it.

Very nice action music.
the patterns are pretty simple but I guess it doesn't need to be any more complex than this. The stops and changes are executed nicely and you have really expended effort to make the drums sound good.

1. The arrangement of instruments is good, mostly synth though. I'm not found of the synth bass, can't really hear it too well. It's a touch quiet. I like the chorus with the altered keychanges. Musically this song is great, i could tottally play final fantasy or any RPG game along with it.
2.The sound is great, all the instruments blend well. The drums are good too, reminds me of a KORG drumpad.
3. The sequencing is excellent, all the samples are perfectly in time. The Chorus changes and key changes for middles are perfect. Musically this is spit-and-polish work, nice job.

Throw-back!
I can definately hear this one as a backdrop for an old action-movie...has some great 80's detective feel to it.

Sounds were nice - vintage keyboard, drum machine, beat...total throw-back.

Dramatic sound...good arrangement.

Descent
Back in the day, my favorite video game was Descent. Slaughtering robots by the hundreds was one of the joys of the game, the other was the soundtrack. Though it was a MIDI soundtrack, it pushed the MIDI technology as far as it could possibly go.

I bring this up because this song has a very similar feel. It's not quite as refined, nor as complex as the classic Descent soundtrack, but it has the same feel.

Now, feel alone isn't enough for a song to work, but while this song doesn't QUITE live up to the lofty comparisons I've just applied to it, it does acquit itself decently. The sound is obviously translated MIDI, and while that wuold normally count as a strike against it, in this context, it actually improves the feel and makes the song sound more original (strange as it sounds).

This song screams "mid-90s video game", if that's not your thing, you're not going to appreciate this track. However, I do... and I did.

growl
Good rhythm, works well with the guitar synths, panning and echo effects add to impact of the rhythm. I would have liked a more defined melodic component to lift this to the next level, but then perhaps it would be less experimental. Growl/rumble at 2:40 is awesome, a great sound. Piece became a bit monotonous after a while, maybe needs more variation along the way, different chord structure development. Overall, a nice piece, enjoyable listen.

very upbeat.
this has a really cool 80's feel to it. as a matter of fact, this belongs in a movie..yes definately. great work on the production and mastering. everything melds in nicely together.nice arrangement also..very sweet.

great
I've smiled when I listened that very interesting composition of different sounds in loops. There is a lot great little ideas in this track, and they was composed as one big idea. But I'm not sure if I don't get bored after third listening. Anyway now, after one repeat, I like it. It could function as a sountrack for anime movie. I like that emerging bells at the middle.

Pretty interesting arrangement
Kind of interesting. I'm unsure how experimental this is as it's the first experimental one I've reviewed tonight. The themes generally hang tough though.

I'm pretty sure there will be some just plain not so good stuff coming up in this category.

The sound & sequencing are pretty tight although the drum machine could be given a more natural feel than here (but then maybe it wouldn't fit with the song anymore?).

80s returned!
Sounds cool, very 80s tones. Melody is groovy and beat is straightforward - mood is kind of action soundtrack.

Older School Video Game Music In Feel
This song has impact straight from the go. Feels like a track that could fit into a video game of some sort. The flange guitars on the first riff are interesting and the sound textures used throughout are bold (not predictable). The drum beat is a slight disappointment only in that it could have a more varied TONE to accompany those interesting synth and guitar sound textures (instead of just the same snare, over and over again). Actually, this is the sort of track that would feature on the next Pac Man game - does anyone remember the grooving Pac Man 3D game where you could jump? great music :)
The bells at 2:40 could be a bit more refined in performance (they feels a bit uneven in volume and timing, like the performer of this part wasn't that comfortable with the part). Production overall is interesting and allows for variation in production techniques. Worth a good listen and this composer might be interested to submit it to the guys who do that animusic stuff!

Visual Tune
lots of energy in this experimental piece -- strong beat, big sounds. mix and arrangement are very good, excellent production. sequencing is good but a bit repetitive after awhile -- consider occasional variation for the sequenced line. this piece sounds like the opening to a game or movie -- conducive to visuals. nice job.

Sounds like an industrial video game castle song... if that might be. Its good when a song achieves to use what appears to be cheap sounds and make it sound appealing. Its kind of rocking for an electronic song. Sometimes it gets a little kitschy and overplaying, but aside of that its ok.

this was a cool tune, it had an 80's rush vibe to it with a dance feel. good job on the arrangement.
definitly a success!

Old school
Some synths sounds like general midi tones, mix sounds like music from '80.
Cool stereo effect on the guitar sound.
Good melody themes. Nice sequencing and in melodies and in the rhtyhm.
Those bells are good too.
